Rider critical

A motorcyclist is fighting for life in hospital after he lost control of his black Harley Davidson at Little River about 5.40pm on Wednesday. The 28-year-old Yarraville man veered off Princes Fwy and collided with wire barriers, police said.

Paramedics airlifted him with life-threatening injuries to The Alfred Hospital, where he remained in a critical condition yesterday afternoon, a hospital spokesperson said.

Red brigade

The “enigmatic” Extinction Rebellion Red Rebel Brigade will “make their haunting presence felt” in central Geelong tomorrow, according to organisers. They will appear in flowing blood-red robes and “deathly” white make-up as part of climate change protests in a national day of action, organisers said.

Assault plea

Police are hunting two men wanted in Geelong on separated assault and theft charges. They called for public assistance to track down Alex Travella, 33, wanted on assault charges, and Bradley Waters, 19, wanted on theft charges, both of who could be in Geelong.
