Police search for missing 12-year-old girl

The disappearance of a 12-year-old Wandana Heights girl more than a week ago has prompted police to appeal for public help to find her.

Missing girl Trixxie was last seen at her Wandana Heights address last Saturday, April 10.

Police described her as 160cm tall, with a medium build and brown hair, and said she is known to frequent the Whittington area.

Police hold concerns for Trixxie due to her age and the length of time she has been missing.

Investigators released an image of Trixxie yesterday in hope that someone recognised her and could provide information on her current whereabouts.

Police urged anyone who sees Trixxie or has information on her whereabouts to phone Waurn Ponds Police Station on 5247 3500.
