Police search for missing Aireys Inlet man

The disappearance of an Aireys Inlet man after he went shopping yesterday has prompted police to appeal for public help to find him.

Gregory Lee, 59, left his Distillery Creek Road home yesterday about 11.45am to go shopping and had not been seen since, police said.

Police and Mr Lee’s family hold concerns for his welfare, as he suffers from a medical condition requiring medication he did not have on him when he left.

Officers conducted patrols of the surrounding area but were unable to locate Mr Lee, police said.

Police today released a photo of Mr Lee in hope someone recognised him and could help find him.

They urged anyone who has seen him or has information on his current whereabouts to phone Geelong Police Station on 5225 3100.
