A truck driver was killed this morning after his vehicle overturned on Slate Quarry Road near Meredith.
Emergency services were called to the scene at about 8am after reports a truck had overturned.
Crews attempted to treat the driver at the scene but he could not be revived.
Slate Quarry Road is expected to be closed for some time while the investigation takes place.
Work Safe have been notified of the incident and police are investigating the circumstances.
