Homicide detectives are investigating a man’s death in Whittington on Wednesday afternoon following reports of a stabbing.
Emergency services rushed to a property on Planet Court about 3pm after reports a man had been stabbed.
On arrival police found a man in his 40s suffering life-threatening injuries, a Victoria Police spokesperson said.
“He was taken to hospital where he later died,” they said.
“The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are still being established and a crime scene has been set up.”
