An alleged stabbing has killed a man at Lara this morning with detectives making an arrest soon after his death.
Emergency services rushed to Patullos Rd just past midnight after receiving a callout and located a man with stab wounds.
Paramedics tried to save the man but he died at the scene.
Officers arrested a man at the scene and he was assisting investigators with their inquiries, a Victoria Police spokesperson said.
Police believe the parties are known to each other. Homicide Squad detectives were investigating the incident.
