We will remember them

Greater Geelong residents can pay their respects to our fallen Diggers on Saturday November 11 by attending Remembrance Day services.

Geelong RSL will host a service at the Geelong Peace Memorial in Johnstone Park while Waurn Ponds Memorial Reserve will also host a service with both beginning at 10.30am.

This year marks the 105th anniversary of the moment the guns fell silent on the Western Front.

At Waurn Ponds, Australian Air League Cadets along with the 427 Royal Australian Air Force Cadets will participate in the service along with the Geelong Memorial Brass Band and Sing Australia Geelong Choir.
