COVID-19 cases number continue to grow in Greater Geelong.
It was announced that there were 18 new cases in the region in the past 24 hours at the daily press conference.
Victoria’s chief health officer Brett Sutton said that most of those cases were linked to previously known cases.
One new exposure site in Geelong was listed on the Department of Health’s exposure list, the Seda College Geelong – Multi Geelong Geelong Arena.
Greater Geelong council had previously announced that the site was an exposure site.
Meanwhile, Rolling Pin Pies and Cakes in Queenscliff is listed as a tier two exposure site.
Anyone who attended the site on October 2, between 2:40pm and 3:50pm needs to get tested and isolate until they get a negative result.
