Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash which occurred in Corio this morning.
Emergency services were called to School Road about 2am on 7 December after reports a car had crashed into a pole.
Two males, one believed to be the driver and the other a back seat passenger, were treated at the scene by paramedics.
The third occupant of the vehicle, a male travelling in the front passenger seat, was also treated at the scene but died.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision remains ongoing with the two males assisting police with their enquires.
