A $1 million blowout in WorkCover costs has hit Barwon Health’s ability to “meet its obligations”, Barwon Health chief executive officer Stan Capp told The Independent yesterday.

And other health service providers, charities and disability support groups warned of reduced services and higher costs as WorkCover cost increases of up to 100 per cent spread from private businesses to the community welfare sector.
