Woman disappears in Torquay

The disappearance of a woman in Torquay last Thursday has prompted police calls for public help to find her.

Police on Monday released an image of Dionne Bunker in hope of locating her.

The 44-year-old from Hoppers Crossing was known to be staying in Torquay recently but had not been heard from since January 2, police said.

They described Ms Bunker as Caucasian, about 174cm tall, with a thin build and blonde shoulder-length curly hair.

Police had concerns for her welfare as her behaviour was out of character, they said.

She could be travelling in a 1994 silver Toyota Corolla, registration 1QU 2PW, and was known to frequent Geelong, Werribbee and Hoppers Crossing, police said.

Investigators urged anyone who sees Ms Bunker or has any information on her whereabouts to phone Geelong Police Station on 5225 3100.
