A man has been found dead in Highton after investigators believe a car fell on him while changing a tyre on Friday.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson told the Independent that police and paramedics responded to reports of a man found dead on the Geelong Ring Road at close to 1.50am on September 6.
A Victoria Police spokesperson said crews tried to revive the “yet to be formally identified man” but were unsuccessful, with police currently preparing a report for the coroner.
“Investigators…believe the man had been changing a tyre on his car when the vehicle (had) come off the jack and landed on him,” they said.
