PEDESTRIAN HIT: A Geelong woman has been left in a serious condition after being hit by a truck this morning.

A Geelong woman remains in a serious condition after being hit by a truck in Geelong’s CBD this morning.

The pedestrian was struck at the intersection of Latrobe Tce and Aberdeen St at about 7:45am today, police said.

Police and emergency services immediately attended the scene.

Paramedics took the woman, who is in her 40s, to University Hospital Geelong with serious leg injuries, an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said.

“Investigators are yet to determine the cause of the collision and the investigation is ongoing,” a Victoria Police spokesperson said.
