Calling all businesses and business leaders who are ready to unlock their potential and receive the recognition they deserve.

Entries are now open for the Geelong Business Excellence Awards 2020 which recognise the clever, creative and thriving businesses in the Geelong & the Bellarine, Surf Coast, Queenscliff and Golden Plains areas.

Geelong Chamber of Commerce chief executive Ben Flynn said the awards put the spotlight on outstanding businesses and inspirational leaders by celebrating their success and sharing their stories.

Sponsored by major partners LBW Business + Wealth Advisors and Deakin University, the awards celebrate business excellence across 20 categories targeting small, medium and large business from all industries including the manufacturing, hospitality, not for profit, health, financial services and more.

The awards offer entrants, finalists and winners a range of opportunities and experiences far beyond simply winning.

2019 Geelong Business of the Year Winner, Carrie Felton, CEO of Stuck on You, said:

“Winning the award gave us a renewed drive to keep growing. The recognition can really take you to new heights and new destinations.”

Chair of Judging, Simon Flowers encourages businesses to enter.

“Businesses are often hard on themselves wanting to achieve ambitious milestones before putting themselves forward, but they should celebrate what their teams have achieved and take the opportunity to reflect on their business and talk about the things they’ve done well”.

Entries are open at the Geelong Business Excellence Awards website and can be submitted up until the 1 May 2020.

Businesses and Business Leaders do not need to have been nominated to enter the program.

Join the Geelong Chamber of Commerce at one of their insight Sessions to learn about the awards program, meet the judges, hear from past winners and ask all of those burning questions.
