Geelong’s flag celebrations are continuing to flow with Carlton & United Breweries releasing a limited-edition run of Geelong Cats premiership cans with 720,000 cans leaving the Abbotsford brewery this week.
Premiership stars Joel Selwood, Tom Hawkins and Norm Smith Medallist Isaac Smith joined Cats’ legend Billy Brownless at the Commo Hotel in Geelong to crack the first celebratory Carlton Draught.
Fresh off retirement Geelong Cats premiership skipper Joel Selwood couldn’t wait to share a limited-edition frothie with his premiership teammates.
“It’s been an unbelievable week for the Geelong Football Club and these cans are another special moment that comes with it,” Selwood said.
“Let the celebrations keep flowing by picking up your piece of Geelong Cats history.”
Geelong Cats premiership cans are available for purchase by adults only at bottleshops across Victoria.
