A learner motorcyclist sped at 152km/h past Lara along the Princes Freeway last night before officers impounded his ride, police allege.
Geelong Highway Patrol officers clocked the rider travelling north at 52km/h above the limit about 8.50pm.
They intercepted the 31-year-old Lara man and impounded his motorcycle for 30 days at a cost of $1137.
Police expect the motorcyclist to front court on charges including dangerous speeding, exceeding the speed limit by 45km/h or more, failure to display L plates and failure to wear a high-visibility vest.
