A man with a medical condition has vanished in Geelong West this week prompting police calls for public help to find him.
Matthew Barr, 39, was last seen about 2.20pm on Tuesday on a footpath at the intersection of Pakington St and Spring St, according to police.
He left his residence at East Geelong for an appointment in central Geelong yesterday and had yet to return, police said.
Police held concerns for Mr Barr’s welfare due to a medical condition, they said.
They described him as being of a thin build, and said he was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, a black peaked cap and a black back pack.
Police released an image of Mr Barr in hope someone recognised him and urged anyone with information on his whereabouts to phone Geelong Police Station on 5225 3100.
