Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the death of a man at an Anglesea beach this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to reports a man had been pulled unresponsive from the water at Hut Gully Beach, off Great Ocean Road, about 2.20pm.
Police have been told the man appeared to be in difficulty just prior to being pulled from the water.
Sadly, the man who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
