11 vie to reign on plains

Eleven candidates including new faces and incumbent councillors have nominated for seven seats in Golden Plains Shire council elections.
Eight incumbents have nominated, meaning at least one will fail to win re-election.
The candidates are: David Cotsell; Geraldine Frantz; Helena Kirby; Jennifer Jones; Des Guinane; Gerald Dupe; Mick Rooney; Jenny Blake; Kevin Knight; Greg Vaughan; and Bill McArthur.
