Child abduction fears at Drysdale

CHILD abduction fears have emerged at Drysdale after reports of a man trying to entice children into his van.
Online community page Leopold this week warned of a man wearing glasses and an orange jacket asking a young boy to get into the van.
“The child rode home as fast as he could but the man in the van followed him,” the site reported.
“The guy in the van finally drove off just before the kid got home.”
In another incident a white van was reported “trying to pick up a girl after school outside the Drysdale pub a few weeks ago”.
The page administrator warned parents to tell their children, especially if they walked or rode home alone.
Police and local schools were unaware of the reports.
