CELEBRATING the importance of science in everyday life, the students at Whittington Primary School have taken part in Super Science Month.
Incorporating National Science Week recently, Super Science Month at the school fostered an appreciation and understanding of science through an array of fun and engaging events, activities, workshops and classes.
The curious minds of the students were led in sessions by teacher Katrina Simpson in the schools newly created Discovery Zone, a hands on learning environment for science and technology.
Student Nathan Del Rosario said Mrs Simpson had been doing “awesome science sessions” every Wednesday during August.
“They are the best science sessions – I can’t wait for the next one,” he said.
