SEVENTY students from Geelong’s Northern Bay College have told their stories in an original “song cycle” as part of a two-year music project.
The students worked with composer Paul Jarman during the Samsara project at the college’s Norlane and Corio campuses.
The project culminated with the students performing their original compositions last week.
Geelong-based Bluebird Foundation coordinated the project as part of its work to provide “quality arts programs for all”.
The foundation’s Bron Lawson said the performance was Samsara’s “icing on the cake”.
