A 31-year-old Moolap man suffered severe stab wounds to his upper chest on Wednesday night.
The man presented at a Geelong hospital at 11pm in a critical condition.
A Barwon Health spokesperson said the man’s condition had improved to ‘stable’ by Thursday afternoon.
