A B-DOUBLE truck caused traffic havoc when it tipped over near the entrance to Geelong’s bypass at Highton on Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency services rushed to the scene as strong winds buffeted traffic around the city.
A Victoria Police spokesperson said the truck tipped onto its right side about 1.55pm.
The truck blocked the north-bound entrance of the bypass to the Princes Highway at Waurn Ponds, the spokeperson said.
The police spokesperson said the truck driver sustained neck injuries.
Ambulance officers treated the driver’s injuries at the scene.
The police spokesperson was unable to say whether Wednesday’s strong wind played a role in the accident.
