Murder ’witnessed’
A witness allegedly saw Karl Michael Hague murder 16-year-old Ricky Balcombe in Geelong’s mall 22 years ago, a court has heard.
Justice Lex Lasry heard on Thursday that the witness was previously too scared to come forward against the now 44-year-old Mr Hague, who sought bail this week ahead of his murder trial.

The Andrews Government has appointed the chair of Committee for Geelong to the body managing Kardinia Park.

A car crash at Freshwater Creek has put three women in hospital, according to emergency services.
Ambulance Victoria said two women in their 70s and a third in her 20s were “stable” after the two-car crash on Anglesea Rd last Friday afternoon, while a fourth person avoided a trip to hospital.
