Buckets and bouquets

BUCKETS to the silly person who had a whinge about legalisation of gay marriage (Buckets & Bouquets, 12 June). I have lesbian and gay relatives and friends and think they too deserve to become happily married. As a non-believer in God, I enjoyed a civil ceremony.
Ellen, Newtown

BUCKETS to hypocritical gay marriage supporters who used terms like “bigot”, “offensive” and “ignorant” (Buckets & Bouquets, 19 June) against a supporter of traditional marriage. Can’t anyone express an opinion that goes against the party line anymore? Lighten up, toughen up or shut up.
Big Gay Al, Highton

BOUQUETS to Nathaniel at Telstra’s Corio store. His customer service was excellent when I recently had a session with him after obtaining new Telstra products. Telstra should be proud of hiring this young man.
I Brennan, Norlane

BUCKETS to a Ford van driver for parking in a disabled zone outside Rod’s Bakery Lara even though a general parking space was available. Hopefully City of Greater Geelong will act on the photos I sent, you selfish pig. I hope your coffee was expensive.
Piping Hot, Lara

BUCKETS to a miserable mammal who foully abused us then threw a bike at out lovely daughter’s car with an 18-month-old baby in the back. He was on a tribute ride – what a joke! Little wonder the public wants bicycles registered so pathetic, gutless people like him can be charged.
Disgusted, Eastern Beach

BOUQUETS to Lewis Tyre Service for excellent customer service. I bought a set of tyres that had issues, which the business solved at a cost in time and money but at charge to me.
Happy Camper, Highton

BOUQUETS to DB Blinds for prompt attendance to a problem blind, which was still not working after the attention of another company. It’s good to know that honest people are still around.
Happy Senior Betty, Corio

BOUQUETS to all involved in recent winter solstice productions of Petty Fines and Forbidden Fairytales at Drysdale’s Potato Shed. Top entertainment in an intimate venue equals a super night out.
Hard Marker, Geelong West

BUCKETS to a male Ford Territory driver for sticking up his finger during an angry outburst around two schools at Manifold Heights on Monday. A mother was trying to get her young children out of the car and he came at me head-on while I gave her space and safety.
Disgusted, Manifold Heights

BOUQUETS to McHarry’s Buslines for my 26 years of travel on the Rollins Rd route. The driver has been very courteous and helpful. The new operator has big shoes to fill.
Over 80 Now, Bell Post Hill

BOUQUETS to a lovely RACV man who fixed my electrical problem in Nagle Dve, Belmont, on the evening of 12 June. I bet I would have been told it was a major fault and would cost a fortune to fix if I had taken it elsewhere.
Happy Member, Belmont

BUCKETS to a bank for losing all information online over four hours, leaving my daughter stranded, upset and without money in America.
Bad Service Indeed, Newtown

BOUQUETS to all our instructors at Fiona Skinner Learn to Swim for kind, diligent and effective teaching this term. Your skills never go unnoticed and help improve the aquatic abilities of our young children and swimmers every week.
Fiona and Graeme Skinner, Belmont
