Waterfront crash puts three in hospital

A THREE-car crash disrupted traffic on Geelong’s Western Beach Rd late yesterday.
Witnesses described the accident, near Deakin University’s Waterfront campus, as serious.
SES personnel were seen cutting the roof off a small car to rescue its driver.
Ambulances waited as police blocked the road in both directions, forcing traffic onto surrounding roads.
The ambulances took the three drivers to hospital in unknown conditions
