AN ARMED robbery at a Belmont pharmacy has prompted police to appeal for information.
Investigators said two male offenders wearing cloth-type masks entered the High St shop about 8.45pm on March 2.
One of the men produced a knife before demanding staff hand over prescription drugs from a safe, they said.
The other demanded cash from another staff member.
The investigator said the thieves fled the store with cash and prescription drugs.
Police believed the offenders were last seen heading north from a car park behind the pharmacy.
The staff described one offender as 170cm with a solid build and wearing a black hooded-top with the word ‘zero’ across the front. The other offender was described 178cm and with a thin build.
Police urged anyone with information to phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit its website at crimestoppers.com.au.
