Huxtables bring it home

Jan Juc’s Huxtable brothers have dominated a junior championships for junior surfers.
Xavier Huxtable won the under-14 boys title at the inaugural SmoothStar Micro Groms Cup at Ocean Grove on Sunday.
Younger brother Ethan placed four in the under-14s and also won the under-12 boys division.
More than 90 under-14 surfers from around Australia contested the cup over two days.
Xavier Huxtable was a standout, winning all his heats on the way to the main title.
“I’m so happy. It’s pretty sick to claim some prize money as well!” he said after the presentation.
“It was pretty tough out there. Most waves were straight close-outs with the occasional one that peeled.”
Ocean Grove’s Bodhie Williams also reached the under-14 boys final, finishing third.
Baron Heads’ Ellie Harrison was second in the under-14 girls, with Jan Juc’s Bella Wilson third.
Jan Juc’s Willis Droomer and Stella Huxtable won the under-10 boys and girls respectively.
