Geelong Performing Arts Centre’s Musical Mornings 2015 concert series will reach a festive conclusion on 10 and 11 December.
Celebrate Christmas with GPAC will be a special concert featuring much-loved local performers Natalie O’Donnell and Bert LaBonte.
O’Donnell is fresh from performing in The Production Company’s Jerry’s Girls at The Arts Centre Melbourne.
LaBonte recently wowed audiences as Marvin Gaye in Let’s Get It On.
The pair will perform a mix of traditional and modern Christmas songs, plus the children from Northern Bay College will also perform on stage.
Patrons can expect all the usual festive treats including chocolates and a visit from Santa.
Meanwhile the program for Musical Mornings 2016 has been announced, beginning in February with Athol Guy and Friends – The Seekers, Live in Concert.
The season will also feature a farewell performance of The Mikado, a World War II tribute Over There combining music, narration and letters home, plus Night and Day, a celebration of music of Doris Day and Shirley Bassey.
Sensational tenor Jonathan Welch will return to sing Silver Screen Classics, providing a sensational season one finale.
Musical Mornings season one 2016 subscriptions are now on sale at $85 for all five shows, while single show tickets will be available from 10 December at $20 each.
