$1m Tatts winner revealed as Drysdale family

By PAUL MILLAR

A DRYSDALE woman says she is in disbelief after being told she won $1 million in Monday’s Tattslotto draw.
The woman bought the winning ticket at Drysdale Lotto shop, a store with a series of recent big wins.
“This is just like a dream!” the stunned winner said.
“My husband asked me last night if I’d checked my Monday Lotto entry. When I did I turned to him and said, ‘I think I just won!’
“We’ve been in a state of disbelief ever since. It’s been such a stressful year for us but that’s totally disappeared now.
“I’m not too sure what we’ll do with our prize money, except for what everyone says they’ll do if they win lotto, which is pay off our mortgage.”
The 12-game-winning Monday entry marked the second month in a row the outlet has sold a first-division winner.
Agency owner Jack Breen said Tattslotto officials contacted him this morning to inform him his shop had sold another registered winning ticket.
“We also sold one on July 11 to a syndicate and the winnings were $1.05 million, so we’ve been lucky but we do sell a lot of tickets,” Mr Breen said.
In March 2013 the agency sold an even bigger-winning ticket to a Drysdale resident who won almost $1.5 million.
