Ablett hunted

GOLD Coast’s rugby league recruit, Karmichael Hunt, has urged Gary Ablett to sign with the new AFL club.
A standout fullback for the Brisbane Broncos, who also represented Australia, Hunt was the Suns’ inaugural big-name signing last year.
Gold Coast has since recruited AFL stars Nathan Bock, Nathan Krakouer, Campbell Brown and Jarrod Harbrow in the past three weeks.
“I’m really excited about what might happen,” Hunt told the traditional Carbine Club grand final luncheon this week.
“I do hope that (Ablett) comes to Queensland.
Ablett remained tight-lipped this week at the Brownlow Medal about his prospects for next year.
Ablett’s manager, Liam Pickering, told SEN radio it was “absolutely” a 50-50 decision between choosing Geelong or the Gold Coast.
“Everyone thinks they know what’s going on, but they don’t.”
