The search is on for mystery lotto winner who snared $830,431.50 after buying a ticket in Corio.
Officials had yet to track down the division one winner, who purchased their winning ticket from Corio Village Lotto.
The division one winning ticket was registered to a Tatts Card but the contact details of the winner were incomplete meaning officials had no way of contacting the winner.
Tattslotto spokesperson Bronnie Spencer was eager to confirm the division one news with the lucky player.
“Our new winner could be completely unaware their contact details are incomplete and that Tatts isn’t able to contact them with the dream come true news,” she said.
I’m sure they’d love to discover they are $830,000 richer – that is bound to kick start their week”
Jacek Karpinski, owner of Corio Village Lotto was excited to have sold a winning division one entry.
“It’s got lots of people talking all through the shopping centre as we have put signs up letting people know we have sold a winner,” he said.
“We are telling all of our customers to check their tickets and their Tatts Cards and we’ve had heaps of people come in to see if it is them.
“We haven’t discovered the winner yet, but hopefully they come forward soon to claim their prize.”
