A PORTARLINGTON labourer threatened to kill a speed camera operator, a Geelong court has heard.
Mark Morton pleaded guilty to using threatening words in a public place after he was caught driving 5km/h over the limit in May.
Police prosecutor Claire Murphy said Morton approached the speed camera car and yelled his death threat before making a “throat-cutting gesture”.
Morton was convicted and fined $1500.
