Brothers likely to face Supreme Court

BID: The alleged rapists of a 14-year-old girl in Geelong could front the Supreme Court.

THREE men accused of raping a 14-year old girl in Geelong are likely to face the Supreme Court after an application filed in a lower court today.
Allan Wild, 30, Kevin Wild, 29, and Brodie Wild, 21, were each charged with rape after the alleged assault in November, the Herald Sun has reported.
Allan and Kevin Wild appeared in County Court this morning, while Brodie Wild appeared via videolink from Queensland.
The court heard that the Office of Public Prosecutions wanted the matter moved to the Supreme Court, which handles Victoria’s most-serious criminal cases.
The Wild brothers had been listed for a County Court trial but could now go before the Supreme Court in the coming weeks when a trial date could be fixed, the Herald Sun reported.
All three men have pleaded not guilty, with a charge against Kevin Wild of intentionally causing injury struck out at their last court appearance.
