GEELONG needs to share the love, according to Mayor Darryn Lyons.
And he’s put his appeal on bright banners flying around the city with the message #LiveLoveGeelong.
The banners are part of a new campaign to encourage pride in the city, Cr Lyons explained.
“I always use the term Live Love Geelong because I like to feel and see things in our beautiful city and I want others to do the same.
“The idea behind putting the hash-tag in front of the wording is so people can post photos of what they love about Geelong on social media and get a conversation going.”
Cr Lyons said the campaign artwork “grabs your attention and makes an impact”.
The campaign was also “another way to put Geelong on the social media map”, he said.
