Bright lights in night sky

INCOMING: An Orionids meteor shower should be visible from local backyards this weekend if night skies are clear. Australasian Science magazine's David Renke said the shower would be good practice for "novice telescope owners", with the best viewing times between midnight and an hour before sunrise.
