Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy following two separate aggravated burglaries in Corio on Wednesday morning.
An offender broke into a woman’s home on Goodwin Court shortly after 3am, according to investigators.
The offender took cash and jewellery from the house but no one sustained injuries during the incident, police alleged.
Shortly after, police received a second report of an aggravated burglary on Goodall Court.
Police attended the scene along with the dog squad and located a teenager nearby riding a bike near English Court.
The boy allegedly got off the bike and ran from police but they arrested him shortly after.
Police discovered a bag of allegedly stolen cash and jewellery near the bike.
The boy was in custody and assisting police with their enquiries on Wednesday morning.
