Happy dancers at Expressions

EXPRESSIONS Ballet Academy is a Newtown-based dance school under the direction of Emma Madden.
The school offers classes in classical ballet, contemporary, jazz, stretch and strengthening and acrobatics for students two years to adult.
Students and staff at EBA enjoy two fully equipped studios with tarkett covered sprung floors, mirrors, air-conditioning and heating.
EBA aims to foster a love of dance in a caring, nurturing and fun environment.
Classes provide students with high level technique training, while encouraging dancers to develop an individual sense of artistry and performance.
Students have the opportunity to undertake examinations in the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and perform in an end of year concert at GPAC.
Expressions Ballet Academy offers two special Pre-School Programs; Movers and Shakers, and Pre-School Ballet.
These programs have been developed to build self-confidence and self-esteem in the youngest dancers.
Children enjoy music and movement, whilst developing their imaginations and self expression.
Pre-School years are the most magical time in a little dancers life and EBA teachers are committed to making a difference in student’s lives as they grow.
Many EBA students have successfully auditioned for prestigious full time training programs such as Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School, The Australian Conservatoire of Ballet, Ballet Theatre Australia and the Russian Choreographic Academy.
Over the past few years, six EBA students have been accepted into the Australian Ballet School as ITP, after-school and full time students.
In 2013, EBA proudly launched Geelong’s first and only part time training program for dedicated and talented dance students.
The EBA Vocational Part Time Training Program supports students as they focus on their goals, gain an insight into full time dance training and work towards a career in the dance profession.
Expressions Ballet Academy is the dance school where happy and passionate dancers grow.
