Police are searching for a father and son lost in the Otways after their phone ran out of battery during a triple zero call.
The man was bushwalking with his son at 1pm yesterday when he phoned triple zero stating that he and his son were lost.
The man believed they were about 30 minutes from Forrest Apollo Bay Road, but they were unable to find their way back to the road.
While speaking with triple zero, the man’s phone battery died.
Police are seeking information on the identity of the two people and a possible location they were heading.
They urged anyone who knows the identity of the two people, or if they have returned home, to phone Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000 or Geelong police on 5225 3100.
