Local experts signing up for wellness event

EXHIBITORS are getting behind a new Geelong event promoting local operators in the $3.4 trillion global wellness and spa industry.
Geelong Community Health and Wellness Day will feature practitioners in nutrition, weight loss, preventative and personalised health, complementary and alternative medicine, and beauty and anti-aging treatments.
Natalie Pickett, chief of event presenting partner Wellness on Time, welcomed local support for next month’s event.
“We’re so pleased to see the Geelong health and wellness community embracing this event as an opportunity to share their message,” she said.
“Geelong Community Health and Wellness Day will provide an opportunity for practitioners from a range of modalities to share their skills and experience from this flourishing industry with the Geelong community.”
Yoga teacher and therapist Anna Nolan, new to Geelong, said she was excited about participating.
“The health and wellness day will be a great opportunity for me to meet with local people, share my skills and experience and talk about how yoga can be taught to suit individual needs.”
The Firm Slimming & Health Clinic’s Samantha Webb, who will also participate, urged the public to attend for latest tips and information.
“We can’t wait for the health and wellness day and hope to see you there.”
The Independent is a sponsor of the health and wellness day, at Geelong West Town Hall on 26 July.
Exhibitor spaces are available from Maree Martin, email info@wellnessontime.com or phone 0418 571 483.
