War time melodies in Anzac tribute

WAR SONGS: Musical Mornings goes into uniform.

With Anzac Day approaching, GPAC’s Musical Mornings program honours the songs and stories of war time in Over There.
Focusing on the WWII and the Vietnam War eras, Over There features letters home, great dialogue and narration as well as more than 20 hits.
The production stars popular Australian tenor Roy Best, international soprano Alison Jones, music theatre star Seona Murley, Opera Australia mezzo Caroline Vercoe and narration by Chris McKenna.
With great songs from the likes of the Andrew Sisters, Vera Lynn and many more, Over There will be a fitting tribute.
There will be two performances, at 10.30am on Wednesday 20 April and Thursday 21 April.
Musical Mornings continues in May with Night and Day – The Doris and Shirley Show, celebrating two iconic but very different performers.
The season finale in June belongs to much loved tenor Jonathan Welch performing Silver Screen Classics.
Tickets are $20 each and guests enjoy free morning tea in the foyer before the show.
