Guy misogynist, councillors told

PLANNING Minister Matthew Guy has told Surf Coast councillors “just do your job” after they voted to ask him for a formal apology over his criticism of council as “incompetent” and Mayor Libby Coker as “gutless”.
Eight of the nine councillors voted on Tuesday night in favour of seeking the apology, with Rose Hodge saying Mr Guy had “just graduated from the Tony Abbott school of misogynists”.
Mr Guy said Cr Hodge was just spreading Labor propaganda instead of “addressing real issues”.
“I can’t imagine what ratepayers think about councillors spending the best part of their evening making comments like this instead of doing their job.”
