“Unique families” will get together for free foot-stomping fun at Vines Road Community Centre next weekend to celebrate Children’s Week.
Not Your Average Family Dance will feature the Billy Tea Bush Band putting on a show for children and adults of all abilities.
Geelong-based community arts organisation Bluebird Foundation and Kids Plus will host the event for families “a little bit different from most”.
The differences could range from physical attributes and language to “a bad sense of humour or just bad wind”, the foundation says.
The centre’s community hall will host Not Your Average Family Dance from 3.30pm to 5pm, Sunday 30 October.
The foundation says entry is free but bookings are essential, at notyouraveragefamilydance.eventbrite.com.au.
