Geelong coach Chris Scott says he is still impressed with the improvement in young ruck weapon, Mark Blicavs.
“We couldn’t be happier really. If we’re going to compare where he’s at now with our expectations, it would be off the charts.
“He’s got a long way to go to reach his peak, but we’re really happy with the role he’s doing for the team and impressed at the way he’s developing as an individual.
“There will be weeks where we don’t play him, maybe even this week after three games of footy. This might be the week where we consider giving him a little spell. He’s not a hardened AFL player but we are yet to make that decision.
“Irrespective of whether Mark plays in any given week, we still see him as being a valuable part of our team later on in the year.”
