Chance visit leads to return of Chloe

A FRIEND’S chance encounter during a school excursion has reunited a Lara family with its long-lost cat.
Geelong Animal Welfare Society’s Belinda Davis said Chloe was now back with the family after three months lost.
“We had a school bus come through and one of the girls recognised the cat,” Ms Russo said.
“No one else had looked at it twice.”
Ms Russo said the family later arrived at the pound to see whether the cat really was Chloe.
“They said its name and it came running out and jumped into their arms.
“It hadn’t been responsive to anybody before that.”
