Angie, Newcomb

BOUQUETS to the efficient, friendly gentleman at REM Williams. Just prior to Christmas he did a great job with a repair to my black ankle boots. They look like new and he helped by doing the work quickly.
Maureen, Drysdale

BOUQUETS to a lovely man who gave me $4 at Westfield Shopping Centre after the car park machine would not accept my $10 notes. He would not take any money in return. I was really touched by your kindness.
Thank you, Hamlyn Heights

BOUQUETS to all the friendly staff at BWS Ocean Grove. Their attitude makes shopping a pleasure, especially the young man who mans the register. His friendly manner is a breath of fresh air.
Happy pensioner, Grovedale

BOUQUETS to the new Porter Ave bakery, Pane di Matteo, for bringing vibrancy to the shopping strip on Saturday mornings. It is great to see people out and about enjoying themselves.
Happy neighbour, Highton

BUCKETS to the drunk parents of teenage netballers and footballers at the Sportsman’s Night held Moolap on 9 January. This event was to highlight the issue of ice in Geelong and was supported by Family Drug Support. Alcohol is a drug and a more prevalent problem among teens yet so widely encouraged by these parents. You make the job of parents trying to do the right thing so much harder.
Monkey see, monkey do, Leopold

BUCKETS to the sporting club catering staff who cut up a large sponge birthday cake before it was presented to the guest of honour. When cut, the pieces fell all over the place, so it was scraped off the presentation board, cobbled together, and squeezed onto a smaller tray.
Travesty, Corio
