POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a two chemical drums came off the back of a vehicle at two sites near Meredith.
One of the blue 200-litre drums, containing dairy cleaning sanitiser, fell 2km south of Meredith while the other came loose 1.5km south of Elaine.
The driver of the vehicle carrying the drums did not stop.
