Winter Dreaming for shortest day

A theatre troupe based at Ceres will be among local arts groups celebrating next week’s winter solstice with its own show.
Theatre of the Winged Unicorn will stage one performance of Winter Dreaming – The Voice of Love on Sunday to mark the shortest day of the year two days later.
Promoter Heather Dempsey said the production would feature words and music from 2pm at Winchelsea’s historic Barwon Park Mansion.
“A beautiful offering of readings, poems and songs in front of the open fire in the stunning rooms of the mansion; this is a wonderful way to celebrate the winter solstice.
“Don’t miss this special piece of theatre.”
Dempsey said tickets were limited and available at theatreofthewingedunicorn.com.au.
