Education Week: Training leader AGB

AGB Training’s courses cater for school leavers, adult education, a career change or up-skilling.
As Geelong’s largest private registered training organisation, AGB offers more than 70 nationally recognised courses in areas including: automotive management; business; community services; food processing; health support services; hydraulic services and civil construction design; hospitality; licensing; training and assessment; transport and logistics; correctional services; spoken and written English; and Retail Services.
AGB Training provides the best learning experience, with dedicated student counsellors, administration and enrolment support staff along with industry-qualified trainers.
Flexible learning options allows students to learn when, where and how best suits their lifestyle, whether through online study, distance and blended learning, school-based traineeships, full or part-time study.
Community partnerships provide AGB students with practice in simulated working environments where they can learn without the risk of costly real-world mistakes. The simulations allow students and trainers to identify weaknesses and to determine strategies for improvement in a safe and positive environment.
AGB’s courses are designed in collaboration with industry professionals, giving students invaluable insight and expertise in their chosen discipline.
AGB also engages with businesses to establish competitive advantage through nationally recognised training and upgrading employees’ skills and knowledge. Training is provided in the workplace to both education and industry standards.
Industry courses and licenses can be entry-level requirements, leading to employment opportunities.
AGB offers a number of these courses in hospitality, building and construction, warehousing, logistics and driving operations.
More information about AGB Training courses is available at agb.edu.au or by phoning 1300 123 242.
